Native of Charleston, SC, Caitlin has lived here in the mountains most of her life. At the age of 6, she began taking clogging lessons. She continued clogging with the direction of many different instructors throughout her life. When she started as a student at Mars Hill College, she also began fulfilling her dream to dance on a National Champion clogging team, the Bailey Mountain Cloggers. Caitlin traveled with the team as they won two National titles and she traveled overseas to England to participate with 8 other countries from around the world for the Billingham International Folklore Festival. In May 2014, she graduated from Mars Hill University with a Bachelors of Elementary Education. Caitlin now works with the Elevate Summer Camp, Afterschool, and as a tutorial teacher. She has a passion for dance and other arts, but she also loves to share her passion of learning to children.
