“I had no idea…” That is the phrase we hear most often when people try out a class, see one of our finales for the first time, or even just walk in the Pillar, our giant space that is tucked away like a safe artists’ cave in downtown Asheville.

Our desire at Elevate is to provide quality classes to the community at affordable prices. We want arts and education to be accessible to as many people as possible. We also want to create a “safe” space where students feel free to try new things and build new friendships.

How do we keep costs low? Elevate meets at a church that allows us to use their building at no cost. All of our teachers consider themselves “Christ-followers”.  We intend and hope for our programs to be a blessing to all people in Asheville who want it. Most of our classes do not use “Christian curriculum”, but we will be as up front as possible about any Christian ideas that may come up in the class so you can choose if it’s the right fit for you. If you have any questions about a specific class, ask us. Our teachers will be glad to answer your questions. We believe that God is loving, generous, creative, and beautiful. So, we want to demonstrate the same qualities through Elevate. We hope that Elevate will be a gift to you and your family!
