I am the mother of 3 grown children and am excited as I start a new chapter in my life. I have a degree in English Literature from Abilene Christian University and have spent the last 20 years homeschooling my children, tutoring other children in English and teaching a Drama class. With the move to Asheville I have been able to feed my creative side. I learned to spin and weave as a teenager (I bought my first wheel with my own money at 13). I love to sew and knit as well and generally try out any fiber art. I also love to cook, which can be a challenge for my family as my daughters are both gluten intolerant and my son has a corn allergy. Whether I am reading, writing, spinning, knitting, sewing or cooking, I love to be creating something. Getting to pass on any of these passions to others is exciting to me. I want as many people as possible to catch the bug and look forward to the opportunity to share with others.
