Megan is a wife, mama of three, and an adventurer at heart. Born and raised in the Sunshine State, Megan moved to Asheville a decade ago and has been hooked on the mountains ever since. Her love of language and culture began in high school and led her to pursue advanced study in Spanish at the University of Central Florida just for fun, alongside her major of Interpersonal Communication. While in college she was active in a ministry for international students at UCF and spent a summer interning with missionaries in Chinandega, Nicaragua. Megan loves learning, the great outdoors, exploring new places, books, writing, photography, and pretty much anything related to the cultures of the world (food, music, dance, language, beliefs, customs, ways of life). It is her joy to spark curiosity and interest in the minds and hearts of others by sharing what she has learned and experienced.
